About Us

Unicredit Group BK is a digital bank: accounts opened on a phone, payments made in an app, and a support desk you can reach without a phone-tree maze. What we are not is a label bolted onto somebody else's infrastructure and forgotten.

How we started

The bank was built around a complaint that came up again and again in customer research: people could not tell what their own money was doing, or what a product would cost them. The whole company was arranged around fixing that.

How we are organised

Small teams own a product end to end, from the screen you use to the ledger entry behind it. There is no handover between a team that designs and a team that builds, which is why a change can ship in days rather than quarters.

Where the staff are

Customer-facing teams are salaried and measured on resolution, not on call time. Nobody is paid to sell you something while they are supposed to be fixing your problem.

What we are still working on

Being honest about the gaps is part of the offer: some products are younger than others, some processes are slower than we would like, and the roadmap is published rather than leaked.

If you want the version of this that is written for shareholders rather than customers, the investor pages carry it.
